1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Did you hear what John wrote? God not only forgives sin when we confess it but he gives us a new and pure heart. He writes about being cleansed from all unrighteousness. All unrighteousness is sin, and to cleanse it is to actually remove the guilt of it, which is the power of the blood of Christ. And we have an opportunity right now to reflect on the power of Christ and the power of the cross. The Christian life is a life of continued repentance, thankfulness, and love to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Volunteer Weekend and Expo.
